Mid-Autumn Festival.
Asian communities today are celbrating the mid-autumn festival, which falls on the 15th August on the lunar calender (ε «ζεδΊ). Although the festival is not common in Australia, we still celebrate it. Mum has being bringing back home some mooncakes (not Wing Wah, but a taiwanese brand). The lotus seed paste in the cake is a bit too sweet to me, but I am willing to have a bit of it every year than to waste it. I want to try other mooncake varieties as well, such as coffee flavored and chocolate flavoured mooncakes. Hopefully, I can find some of these mooncakes in Melbourne.
