Being a bum

I’ve being a bum since I went back to uni. I have been attending lectures and pracs throughout the week - not once I have been to a lecture this week without daydreaming and watching cantonese comedy on TVBJ on most nights. What is great about being lazy is that I never stressed about assignments and study for the last two weeks, which was a bit different than the usual me. In fact, I feel pretty relaxed at the moment.

The last one and a half weeks of uni wasn’t that boring - well maybe the coastal geomorphology was a bit boring than what I thought it would be. The most annoying bit about uni this semester is that I have early starts for most of the time, with huge breaks in between - I wish I get one day off. For hydrology, I only have one lecture instead of two every two weeks, so I can sleep in or completely miss the day’s lectures on every second Thursday.

The course coordinator was trying to get some volunteers to attend a discussion meeting about the B Env Sc course today. Only five of us turned up and I was one of them. The only reason I went to the discussion was because of the free lunch, but other than that, I mainly complained that there was no work industry placement for the final year. Hopefully they can bring the work placement thing in by the start of 2006 - so I can get some experience before I grad.
